Change your life one thought at a time!

It can sometimes feel overwhelming when you are trying to change your life for the better. You’re doing your best to eat healthier, and then you’re suddenly faced with a stressful situation that makes you want to stuff your face with french fries and nachos. This is when you need to take a step back, if possible, and slow your thoughts down. I know when you’re in the moment of chaotic thoughts racing around wreaking havoc on your progress, all your focus goes straight to the nearest relief, whether that relief is food, alcohol, or anything that distracts you, it’s relief. You just want out! Out of the stress. Out of the chaos. Just out! Sometimes it’s too late to stop yourself. You’re already in the pile of food. And before you realize it, you’ve just devoured an entire pizza. Then reality quickly sets in. But, it’s not too late to begin again. The moment of clarity is the way out. Being aware of your chaos is the time to take action. Breathe through it. Love yourself through it. This is not the time for unkind thoughts and words against yourself. One thought of love or peace for your beautiful spirit will change the outcome. Over time, this new way of thinking about yourself will begin to change the course of your life. Just remember that you are the most important person in your life, and you need to treat yourself as such. Blessings of love to you!
