“Oh no, not another one of those days!” Do you wake up some mornings and know it’s going to be “one of those days?” Do you repeat those exact words? I have, many times. But as of late, those days are dwindling. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I’ve uttered those words. Months, at least. The last time I felt that despair is a vague memory. Now when I wake up, I don’t get up immediately. I prepare myself for a wonderful day by affirming that fact. If you’re used to grumbling before beginning your day, this will take a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of stating a positive about the quality of your day, you will glide through any situation that arises. Peaceful thoughts create peaceful situations, and when your thoughts are aligned your spirit, anything that has the potential to disturb your peace will quickly vanish if you remember to take peace in your thoughts throughout your day.
